From the decor to the layout to the furnishings (and the small touches of guest books and pac-man) you home is truly a treasure. We loved the quiet and peacefulness of the beach and neighborhood. From the time spent relaxing on the porch to grilling out by the pool- it was a week we will always keep with us as a treasured memory. — We do have one negative comment: The days weren’t long enough , and our time was too short!”
“The house is great! The kitchen was well stocked and the house had everything we needed, plus some! The owners were very responsive and got back to us within the hour whenever. We love coming to the beach and this location is near the marsh and beachfront both. We were 12 adults and 3 children from ages 2-7 years old. They love going to the beach and building sandcastles, flying a kite or swimming in the ocean. If that wasn’t enough, they enjoyed the pool when they returned. We loved the fact that this end of the beach is not crowded and is more private. The kids particularly loved the bunk bed room. We all loved the video game machine! Absolutely amazing experience! Ocean Isle is a wonderful place! In a few words, the property itself, the location to the beach, the nearby attractions, etc. would please any family looking for a memorable vacation. Can’t wait to come back! We give this house a 5 star review!”
“The Ritter’s home was just as presented. Great floor plan, great views, nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen and spotless. The outdoor spaces quickly became go to spots with the shaded picnic area on the pool deck being the favorite. Great views from the upstairs deck was an evening gathering spot. 97 paces to teh beach access as promised. The bedrooms and bath combos were all different giving us good choices to house our large multi generation family. The Ritter’s are committed to a great vacation and addresses one issue very quickly and then returned the deposit check within a week. Highly recommend.”
We had a wonderful week at the beach thanks to Tom and Karen. Their home was just as pictured and met the needs of our family (6 adults and 1 teenager). My mother struggles with stairs so the elevator was perfect for her. You cannot beat the location! In less than 1 minute you are on the beach, ready for relaxation. You can tell how much care and consideration went into the layout and design of this beautiful home. Having 2 dishwashers in the kitchen was one of our favorite features! My husband and I especially enjoyed lounging on one of the numerous decks in the evening. The sun sets in the back of the house and it is simply stunning. Thank you, Tom and Karen for a week our family will never forget!

Tom, We are suffering post vacation affects of sunburn, weight gain, sleeping to 7 A.M., wine/beer withdrawal and severe In ambition. Your home in OIB has ruined our normal weekly grind and infected us with so much post vacation laziness that I fear Kim and I might lose our jobs and Rachael might drop out of school. My step daughter and son in law along with our grandkids are reporting similar after affects to the point where I think you need to have a warning, caution, or advisory in the rental contract advising your guests that they may be subjected to these debilitating after effects. Book us again for the same week next year!!!
